In the decade that Mr. Lawrence has spent in the financial services industry he has built a reputation as a knowledgeable professional with a passion for providing clients with the right solution backed by concierge level service. Matt has dedicated himself to advancing his own professional skill set to rival those of the most seasoned and disciplined advisors in the industry. He prides himself on being a lifelong student of his chosen industry so that the newest and most creative solutions are always available to his clients.
Prior to founding Guidon Financial in 2015 Mr. Lawrence was an Associate with Tempewick Wealth Management, a boutique wealth management firm located in Morristown, NJ. It was here that Matt learned the complex world of wealth transfer for high net worth individuals and business owners. Matt developed comprehensive estate plan review procedures for the firm that allowed them to demonstrate to their clients the power of insurance planning for the wealthy. He now brings that skill set with him to Guidon. From 2007 to 2010 Matt worked as an agent for New York Life focusing on middle income families and business owners.
Mr. Lawrence graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2004 with a B.A. in Political Science. Matt is proud to have served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1999 to 2006. During his time in the military Mr. Lawrence was twice deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and received the Purple Heart in in 2005 for wounds received in combat.
Matt currently resides in Millstone, NJ with his wife and children. They enjoy getting outdoors and spending family time together.

Don has a unique knowledge of the life insurance market, both term and permanent life insurance. Representing dozens of A-Rated quality companies, he can link his client’s needs to the best competitive companies in the marketplace. His clients number in the thousands.
Don is particularly experienced at helping seniors and baby boomers protect their retirement assets and provide income streams that they cannot outlive. He assists them with their long-term care and retirement planning. Through the proper use of guaranteed, safe money and annuity products, Don assists his clients by providing for good potential growth of their assets while protecting them against loss. When a supplemental retirement income is desired, he can assist his clients with many different products and plan designs.

Phyllis is a specialist in the Term Life Insurance marketplace, representing most of the major insurance companies. She has the ability to shop among them for the most competitive premiums, not only for people in good health, but also for those with special medical issues.
In the retirement planning field, Phyllis is dedicated to helping her clients reap the rewards of a well-planned retirement by showing them how to prepare wisely and avoid loss of principal by providing conservative options. She represents all of the major annuity companies and provides full-service planning with an emphasis on asset creation, preservation, and distribution.
